Contourwear Women's Keyhole Top

“Ohhhh, Mama, yooouuu look beauuutiful,” exclaimed my three 1/2 year-old daughter the other day when I tried on the long-sleeved cranberry red Countourwear Keyhole top. She is sweet but loves me too much to be trusted as the fashion police. The sassy neckline with tear-drop hole that shows some skin just above my jog bra did divert my husband’s eye away from his computer a few minutes later. But it wasn’t until later that evening when one of my sixteen year-old volleyball players said “Hey coach, nice shirt,” that I was convinced it really did look great.

I’m fortunate to spend my days working out of my home and at any given moment like to be dressed to run, ski, or bike as well as go to a meeting at the local coffee shop. Unfortunately, this often leaves me looking like a bit of a ragamuffin always dressed in workout clothes. The contourwear top definitely improved my wardrobe without sacrificing comfort. The silky moisture-wicking fabric is as soft as cotton.

One of my minor complaints was that the sizing ran a bit small. I am tall but thin and normally wear women’s large but the sleeves ran short and a little too much midriff showed when I did yoga. An extra piece of fabric inside the chest (having something to do with the mechanics of the teardrop) tended to bunch up a little, but this also may be due to the fact it was a little small for me.

Contourwear is billing their apparel as functional and stylish for traveling. As long as this piece doesn’t shrink any more I plan on bringing it to the Dolomites this spring- I have to have something reasonable to wear while tasting wine after climbing in Italy!!!
