When I woke up this morning I assumed this day would be like every other. With the exception that we received a bunch of snow and we were going to start the day out with a hike and snowboard off Glory Mountain.

The boot pack up was pretty standard…windy, snowy, slippery and such. At the top Scott and I decided to take a run that we named “Finer than Niner”...being that my nickname is Niner. Halfway down Scott had me stop and then he pulled out a little black box. YUP, that black box…the one with a beautiful, shiny ring sticking out of it. It took me a moment to catch my breath and pinch myself. Right there on the side of this snowy mountain I calmly and cooly accepted…okay…I sort of freaked out hugging and kissing him with snot running out of my cold nose…beautiful.

Getting proposed to in the environment that I love so much was dream like. The most amazing man has asked me to be with him forever…how cool is that!! Now onto the next stage of adventures in my life…with the best partner I could ever ask for. I love you, Scott!
