WomenSpecific.com Cycling Desert Test Fest April 27-30, Moab, UT
The ladies from the WomenSpecific.com review board are putting away their winter boards and heading to the desert for the 1st in a series of WomenSpecific.com Test Fests.
In line with Womenspecific.com’s mission “to promote healthy living for outdoor women through knowledge, community and adventure,” a team of professional athletes, moms, and recreational riders will collectively evaluate the season’s cycling gear in one of the nations premiere cycling hotspots- Moab, UT.
Over twenty-five top companies have submitted products for testing so far. Gear includes bikes from Norco, Jamis, Orbea, Turner, Santa Cruz, and Kona; sunglasses from the Rudy Project and Tifosi; helmets from Uvex and Louis Garneau; apparel from Terry, Pearl Izumi, Descente, Swobo and Louis Garneau; accessories from Camelback, Terry, and WTB; and Redwood Creek Vineyard, Kinetic Koffee, Go Fast and Snake River Brewery, will help feed our addictions.
Reviewers will post an honest discussion of their findings to the website and a “Women’s Guide to Cycling Products” will be created. Aside from an excuse to have a girls biking weekend, we will be generating gear evaluations for Womenspecific.com in a focused and uninterrupted environment….yes, riding our faces off!
We will report from Moab as often as possible so keep in tune to our Blog and Living Adventure section. The Guide is due to be posted by mid-May. We hope we can answer the questions you may have before making that cycling purchase.
