Womenspecific.com has joined forces with the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition to raise awareness of women’s products and the companies that are committed to them. Together Womenspecific.com and the OIWC has organized the first in a series of trade show Scavenge-HER Hunts that will kick-off at the 2007 Winter OR Show.

Rules for the Companies involved:
Companies pay a submission fee to draw attention to products they feel women will TREASURE. These items will be tagged with BLUE Lupine Leaf hangtags within the companies’ booths. Tagged products will be available for raffle after the show ends. Proceeds will be donated to the OIWC. Below is a list of companies currently involved as of Dec. 17th.

Rules for Outdoor Retailer Showgoers:
The Womenspecific.com BLUE Lupine Leaf will mark the spot… or we should say the product that each company has chosen to market. Attendees will hunt for the Lupine Leaf in each of the booths involved. After finding the Lupine Leaf they will fill out a contest form providing their names, email address, and what product they discovered. This slip will be placed into a treasure chest located at each booth involved. This enters them to win the tagged TREASURE.

Names will be drawn and winners announced on Womenspecific.com the week after OR.

Womenspecific.com is honored and excited to work with the OIWC on this and future events. This is an amazing opportunity for companies to show their commitment to women’s products in the outdoor industry. This is also a great opportunity for retailers and attendees to check out some of the great products that women will surely TREASURE.
