Holiday Sales of KEEN Marshall Wallets to Benefit China Earthquake Victims

Sale Proceeds of Recycled Rice Paper Wallet Go Directly to Local Non-Profit

Beginning November 24th while supplies last, KEEN will donate the proceeds of all Marshall wallets purchased at keenfootwear.com to 1KG More, a China-based non profit organization that works to bring school supplies to remote, impoverished areas of China, including those displaced by the May 12th earthquake.

“KEEN donated $10,000 to the Red Cross immediately after the quake, but we were eager to do more,” states Bobbie Parisi, VP of Marketing. “After visiting the devastated area to deliver nearly 12,000 pairs of KEEN shoes to earthquake victims and meeting with local organizations, KEEN decided to partner with 1 KG More to support their efforts to provide books and school supplies to the thousands of children who lost their homes as a result of the quake.”

The Marshall wallet, which is made entirely from recycled paper and rice bags, features credit card pockets and a cash slot and retails for $10.

Each wallet is unique, and like the rest of the KEEN Harvest Collection, which features eye-catching totes, packs and messenger bags, embodies the KEEN commitment to repurpose for a purpose whenever possible.

Since every Harvest Collection piece is artfully constructed from scraps with varying graphics and colors, each one is truly unique.
